Gaming is a pricey hobby to keep up with. Not only are a staggering number of must-play titles released each year, but they're also expensive. (Yes, games cost $70 now.) That's why each week, we're bringing you the best gaming deals we can find, so you can stay in the know about the hottest new games without stressing over video game-induced debt. Whether you're looking to catch up on your backlog with discounted titles or are hoping to freshen up your setup with some new hardware, we've got you covered.

PlayStation deals

Our pick: 'Resident Evil 4'
$48.99 at PlayStation Direct (save $21)

Why we like it

The original Resident Evil 4 is considered by many to be one of the greatest games of all time, so it's no wonder why the remake has garnered a similar amount of praise. Whether you've played the original or not, Resident Evil 4 is a must-play for anyone of the survival-horror genre. It's a great time to jump in, too — not only is the game on sale, but it also got a major DLC drop on Sept. 21.

Why we like it

Amazon first put the Xbox Series X Diablo IV Bundle on sale for $10 off ahead of Prime Day in July, and it's since dropped by an additional $40. That's pretty impressive for a brand-new console bundle featuring one of the biggest titles of the year. This bundle is so popular that it's almost sold out, but gamers on a budget still have a chance to grab it on sale at Amazon.

Nintendo Switch deals

Why we like it

A leading Game of the Year contender, Tears of the Kingdom is the record-shattering sequel to 2017's excellent Breath of the Wild. The game takes Link above and below the expansive Kingdom of Hyrule, with four (highly memeable) new abilities at his disposal on his quest to find Princess Zelda.

PC gaming deals

Why we like it

The first-generation Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is the comfiest gaming headset we've tested, and it's one of the week's best gaming deals as well. With FlowKnit memory foam ear cushions and a padded headband, you can wear it for hours at a time without getting a headache. It comes equipped with immersive THX Spatial Audio, intuitive on-ear controls, and a crystal-clear mic, and it works with PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles in addition to PCs.
