Upgrading to a 4K TV — even a QLED or OLED — no longer has to be an intimidating financial setback. High-quality TVs featuring punchy colors, decipherable shadows, and smooth transitions have become increasingly affordable for regular consumers, made even more budget-friendly by frequent sales from retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon. If you're ready for a home entertainment upgrade, here are the best TV deals this week.

TV deals are categorized by brand, then listed in order of size (smallest to largest) and price (lowest to highest).

Samsung TV deals

Why we love it

Of the handful of 85-inch Samsung TVs on sale this week, we think the deal on the Q80C is the best bang for your buck — now with an extra $100 discount on top of its sale price from last week. The Q80C is Samsung's most advanced QLED (before getting to the Neo QLED part of the family), packing 96 precisely-lit local dimming zones for the meticulous brightness necessary for watching sports in the daylight. Also present are advanced gaming features like a 120Hz refresh rate and VRR support.

LG TV deals

Why we love it

LG's OLED models got a glow-up in 2023, and the B3 model is the most affordable one — and with Best Buy's huge $900 discount on the 65-inch model, it's basically begging to be in your living room.

The B3's lower price point can mostly be attributed to its less-advanced a7 processor compared to the C3 and G3's Alpha a9. However, the B3 runs laps around the cheapest-of-the-cheap 4K TVs with Dolby Vision and next-gen gaming features like a 120 Hz refresh rate, both of which help to push those 8.3 million self-lit pixels to their fullest potential.

Sony TV deals

Why we love it

Bringing the "O" on board to LED significantly upgrades the TV's picture quality, especially in dimly lit rooms and dark, shadowy scenes. That's because OLED doesn't require an external backlight, using organic light-emitting diodes instead. These self-lit pixels are individually controlled by the TV itself based on the content and lighting of the room, offering more precise contrast than an LED or QLED panel.

Though the A90J is now a two-year-old Sony release, it still holds its own as a premium OLED in the field — it's an especially appetizing contender at record-low pricing at Amazon.

Why we love it

In honor of Prime Big Deal Days event in October, Amazon is giving a glimpse of just how much it's willing to slash prices on its own products. The 55-inch version of its most budget-friendly Fire TV is 50% off — easily a new record-low price.

Amazon's 4-Series Fire TV is a less-elevated version of the Fire TV Omni. But at half off, there's little reason to opt for the 55-inch Omni. It's currently over $200 more expensive than the 4-Series of the same size and doesn't support Dolby Vision like the two bigger Omni models do. The 4-Series still displays picture vibrant enough for the average household and seamlessly hops between apps on the Fire TV platform.

Any Fire TV purchase at Amazon comes with six free months of MGM+. Sports fans who'd prefer easy access to live games over MGM+ can snag this TV for the same exact price at Best Buy and unlock a 30-day free trial of FuboTV (as long as they're new subscribers) compared to the seven-day trial offered on FuboTV's website.

Frequently Asked Questions

The higher the refresh rate, the less lag you'll notice while watching a fast-paced game.

Refresh rate essentially dictates how fast the screen updates the image to keep up with whatever you're watching. Officially, this is measured in Hertz (Hz), with the number preceding Hz referring to the number of times per second the screen refreshes the image.

60 Hz is the number you'll come across in most budget and mid-range TVs, while premium models usually jump to 120 Hz.
